Armin Raso is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, performance, research-based practice, and therapeutic arts facilitation. His work examines how biographies are formed, remembered, revised, and shared—through images, gestures, objects, personal archives, and collective narratives. Moving between the intimate and the cultural, he considers identity not as a fixed condition, but as an ongoing composition shaped by memory, place, desire, inheritance, and imagination.

Situated at the intersection of contemporary art, lived ritual, symbolic practice, and transformative pedagogy, Raso develops artistic situations in which personal experience can enter into relation with wider mythological, historical, and transpersonal dimensions. Photography and performance become instruments of attention: ways of approaching nostalgia not simply as longing for the past, but as an active field through which lost, imagined, and possible selves may emerge. His work often attends to thresholds—between private memory and shared history, the visible image and its emotional or symbolic resonance.

Raso understands the artist as a mediator: someone who gives form to what is felt but not yet articulated, and who opens spaces between individual biography and collective imagination. He invites participants, collaborators, and audiences into processes of creative and spiritual inquiry, addressing those who seek to recognise the philosophical, mythical, and poetic dimensions within ordinary life. Here, art becomes a practice of relation and becoming: a way to consciously compose one’s place within the world.
